## Ac Generator Theory

Can anyone help explain the right-hand rule, and the theory behind the Ac Generator?

I have a correct understanding of the topic, but I need someone to help clean up a few points. This is for a science project. Thank you very much John Phail

The right-hand rule: electricity flowing in a coil produces a magnetic field perpendicular to it. If the power flow is run in the direction of his fingers on his right hand, the magnetic field is in the direction of your thumb. The thumb points to the "north" If a coil is placed to rotate within a magnetic field, the opposite happens: an electric current occurs in the coil when "pieces" of the coil magnetic field lines going from pole to pole. If the coil is rotating in one direction, the electricity "is and goes. It's called "AC."
